Q: What player do I need to listen to the live stream?
Our live shows are streamed in Windows Media format, so the standard Windows Media Player will work. Many Mac users have reported good results with Flip4Mac, which plays Windows Media streams in QuickTime. You can download Flip4Mac here. Another option for Mac listeners is the TuneIn.com streaming radio player.

Q: Can I listen to AM 1350 with a mobile device?
Yes. Listeners with iPod/iPhone/iPad devices can use the TuneIn.com tuner here. We also highly recommend the TuneIn.com apps available for iOS, Android, Blackberry, Palm, and Windows Phone users.

Q: Sometimes I hear only silence. What's wrong?
Due to contractual agreements and licensing limitations, certain programs that are broadcast over the air by WEZS are prohibited from being streamed online. These programs are required to be "blacked-out" so the stream will be silent at the time those shows air. Please check our program schedule for other shows that interest you, and try again later.

Q: Was it a random glitch?
Given the complex nature of the internet, it's not unusual for short-lived problems to appear in the system. If your player stops suddenly, try reconnecting in a minute or two. If you continue to have trouble, it could be your internet connection, or there may be a server or extended network problem. You may want to try connecting to other streaming media sites. If other sites work correctly but you still can't get our stream, please send us an email to let us know about the problem.

Q: Is my internet connection fast enough?
If you have a slow modem (28.8 or older) you will likely have trouble connecting to our stream. If you have a faster connection (DSL, cable modem, ISDN, full T-1, LAN, etc.), then the stream quality will depend on how busy the network is.

Q: Is my computer fast enough?
If you have lots of other programs open, or very powerful programs, they may be using too much processor time and/or memory for the player to work properly. First, try closing programs you're not actively using and try connecting again. If your computer is very old, it might be too slow to play the stream regardless of what else it’s doing.

Q: I'm running a software firewall, could that be causing problems?
If you are running a software firewall such as ZoneAlarm, Norton or another, you may need to specifically add (white list) www.wezs.com to your list of trusted sites.

Q: The stream plays, but why does it keeps buffering or skipping?
You are probably on a dial-up or slow speed connection. You need to change the buffer settings within your player to remedy this problem:

In Windows Media Player, go to the top bar and click "Tools", then "Options", then select the "Performance" tab. In that screen you select your modem speed, then buffer 30-60 seconds of content. Click "Apply" and then "OK" and you're done.

Q: What player do I need to listen to archived shows?
Any media player that plays MP3s will work, including Windows Media Player. There are also many alternative players available online for download. Here are links to download 4 of the most common players:

- Download WinAmp
- Download Itunes Player
- Download Realmedia Player
- Download VLC

Q: I've tried all this and nothing works. Can you help?
If you have tried everything and are still having problems, we'll try to assist. Please send us an e-mail detailing exactly what you are doing and exactly where you are having problems. Be sure to include your operating system (i.e. which version of the Windows, Linux, or Mac software you are using) and what player you are using. We will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
